We are currently hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer– Medium/High Voltage to join our Northeast engineering team. The role will be based at our headquarters in Foxboro, MA. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical design expertise for major clients, leading projects and teams, and managing client relationships. You will work alongside our leadership team, demonstrating your in-depth understanding of medium and high-voltage electrical engineering across varying markets.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leading electrical engineering design across various market sectors
Leading the detailed design of substation projects
Managing relationships with assigned clients
Leading project teams
Managing deliverables and workload of team members to adhere to deadlines and budget
Responding to RFP and change order requests
Minimum qualifications for the role include:
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer
15+ years cumulative experience
Extensive experience in the US across market sectors including transmission, power distribution, and renewables
Expert knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI
Strong written and verbal communication skills and being fluent in the English language
Expert-level knowledge of industry software (ETAP, Aspen, MicroStation, etc.).
